The show is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm on both days. With over 150 traders & exhibitors & a full schedule of family fun & entertainment, displays, practical demonstrations, talks & activities for all age ranges (including the dog!), you’ll need the full day the make sure you fit everything in!
Our Main Arena provides a full schedule of rural related family entertainment including the always popular Birds of Prey demonstrations, The Essex Dog Display Team & more. The Small Farm Training Group aims to enable you to learn better farming, smallholding & horticultural skills. They can be found in the NFU Farmer’s Barn & will be hosting a full day’s timetable of talks which are a taster of what they do. Take a look at their timetable to see if any of the talks tickle your fancy.
A visit to the Robins Animal Building will educate visitors on all matters of agriculture with the wide selection of animals that can be found in the barn. The very helpful Kent Smallholders can be found here too, so don’t be shy to pick their brains on any smallholding matters. Across the road you can find the Young Farmers Barn which will be filled with the popular West Sussex Smallholders Association.
The Queen’s Jubilee Building hosts our food hall packed full of tasty treats & hearty food, along with more creative crafts. Don’t forget to enter your dog into the Companion Dog Show which is always a fun & exciting highlight of the weekend.
